Twin Rivers Recreation
program has something for everyone. Our Recreation staff, under the
guidance of Assistant Director Eileen Litvack work year round, along with a dedicated group of resident
volunteers, to supply the community with an array of offerings to
suit many needs and interests. Please use this page as a guide to
our more popular programs and if you have an idea for something new,
please feel free to contact the Recreation Department.

validate your pool passes at the beginning of every season.

KID
STUFF
|
|
|
|
FUN TIME I---a
two-day a week program to promote education readiness and
socialization. This program is available to Twin Rivers children
ages 2-3 years. Held every Tuesday and Thursday morning, from
9:30 AM
to
11:30 AM
in the Community Room, it runs from September through June and
follows the school calendar. Contact Eileen Litvack at the Community Room for
pricing and availability.

|
FUN TIME II ---A
three-day a week program designed to close the gap between home and
kindergarten. This
program is available to Twin Rivers children ages 4-5 years.
Held Monday, Wednesday, and Friday, from
9:30 AM
to
1:30 PM
between September and June. Registration is limited, so call Eileen Litvack for details.

TWIN
RIVERS TODDLER CAMP---
Ages 2 years, 3 months to 5
years. Camp runs from the end of June to mid-August. Held at Quad
II pool complex from 10 am to 3 pm; a five day a week program and a
three day a week program are available. Parents may select 4, 6 or
8 week sessions. This program requires children to be toilet
trained. Registration begins mid-January through opening day.

TWIN RIVERS DAY CAMP:
A special opportunity open to Twin Rivers’ residents. Our summer day camp program provides children with
the opportunity to enjoy a variety of activities in a safe atmosphere that is close to home. Registration
begins in mid-January and the camp is open to children from Kindergarten through Sixth Grade. Parents may
plan their family vacations and still enjoy the "flex" option of choosing from a four, six or eight week
program. Camp begins the end of June and runs through mid-August. The hours of operation are 9 AM-4 PM.
Registration is limited. There is a 10% discount for siblings. Contact the Trust Office at 609-443-1113

CAMP
CARE
: An option for Twin Rivers Day Campers with working parents to supply crossover coverage in the early morning, or late afternoon. Hours are from 7 AM to 9 AM and 4 PM to 6 PM.
Camp Care will take place at the Community Room, near the Quad I pool. Parents will drop
off and pick up their children at the community room. In the early morning the children will have quiet
activities. In the afternoon the children will have a snack, play time, games, swimming and arts & crafts.
Camp Care will follow the camp schedule. Contact the Trust Office at 609-443-1113 for pricing and more
information.

ADULT INTERESTS:
Our popular summer Tennis League begins play in
June. The league runs until late August, with playoffs scheduled for
September. The players have a one-week period to play their matches,
which are arranged through the Recreation Department. Awards are
presented to the League Champion and Runner-up. Sign-up is in April
and the fee is $5.

SPECIAL EVENTS:
Many special events are offered throughout the
year. Please refer to the Special Events page for dates and
times.

SPECIAL
HOLIDAY
EVENTS: Recreation
sponsors a children's Halloween Party in October, in cooperation
with the Twin Rivers Fire Co. #2.
In addition, Twin Rivers sponsors an Egg Hunt in the spring
and a Winter Holiday Party in December.

MUSICAL EVENTS:
Twin Rivers offers a variety of musical events for everyone’s taste. The Annual Twin Rivers Concert
Under the Stars is held every summer and is a chance for neighbors to gather. The music can be the sounds
from Doo-Wop, to Classic Rock, to Show Tunes, to the Big Band Era to a full Orchestra. Come join your neighbors
with blankets, lawn chairs and a picnic dinner to enjoy this popular annual event. This free event is made
possible by the support of local merchants and corporations.

|
FAMILY OUTINGS.
Twin Rivers Day, a community street fair, is held in July to highlight the summer season. The fair
features rides, food, demonstrations, music, games, and crafters and merchants. Special family
trips may include Twin Rivers Day at Trenton Thunder Stadium, Atlantic City Casinos, Baltimore Harbor,
Kelsey Theater, Meadowlands, Pt. Pleasant Beach or a special trip for shopping at the outlets.

|
TEEN PARTIES.
For ages 13 to 16 years. Held during the school year,
beginning in October. The dance/parties are held on Fridays
from 8 PM to 10 PM. A DJ and snacks are provided. |

|
|
SPORTS. The
Summer Tennis Ladder runs from May through September. There are
also recreational activities within our community for runners,
tennis players, and a swim team for the children, and a men's over
30 softball league. There is also teen summer basketball and co-ed
summer beach volleyball.

|
SWIM POOLS.
The Twin Rivers swim season kicks off every Memorial Day
weekend. In addition to offering four beautiful pools to our
residents, the Recreation Department also hosts Summer Pool parties
for all age groups. . Every summer, we plan adult parties at one of
the pools, with music and food. Many are free of charge and some
there is a small fee and will include refreshments and music. Note:
for some special events, the pool will be closed for general use.
Residents are asked to use one of the other three pool facilities.
A free, Memorial Day Weekend Pool Party traditionally kicks off the
pool party season, with additional parties throughout the season,
including an Independence Day Celebration.
